Kate Ely is a Vancouver based actor and award winning indie director. Though she was born in the states she has grown her roots as a Canadian actor. Kate’s first break was a recurring role on Season 5 of iZombie, a popular show exclusive to Netflix. Later she was cast on The Twilight Zone (2020) which will be coming out later this year on the CBS All Access platform. Before she was working in film Kate loved to perform on stage and was blessed with the opportunity to play such roles as Juliet in the classic Romeo and Juliet and Maggie in Piece of My Heart, a heart-breaking piece about the American women who volunteered for the Vietnam War. Kate has been a story-teller from birth and loves using her vast imagination to breathe multi-dimensionalism into every character she embodies. One of her goals is to live life fully and have a wide array of experiences to translate into her performances.
